The agency represents actors aged from around five years old to mid-twenties.
Our books are never closed and we’re always interested in hearing from new talent, however owing to a high level of interest, sadly we’re unable to interview everybody who applies.
If you're interesting in applying for representation, there are two different ways to apply, depending on your age. Here's how to go about it:
Children aged UNDER 13 years at time of application:
Please email the following to firstname.lastname@example.org:
Please do not attach any video files to your email!
Please send your application to email@example.com; this is the applications address. Applications sent elsewhere will not be viewed.
Children aged OVER 13 years at time of application:
We require children aged over 13 and young adults to find a short, contemporary monologue, learn it, and video themselves performing it.
There are two reasons for this; firstly, this is a very competitive age group, and we need to get an idea of the applicant's level of ability before we can invite them in for a face-to-face meeting.
Secondly, actors in this age group are regularly required to self-tape scenes for casting directors, and we need to know that you're able to do it!
There are lots of short monologues available online, and your local library should also have books of collected audition pieces available, either in stock or on order.
We'd like you to use your own initiative to find a suitable piece, so please don't ask us for recommendations. However we would urge you to chose a piece featuring a character of your own age, and using your own native accent.
Avoid Shakespeare speeches or scripts written in archaic speech, as we need to get an idea of what you would be like in a contemporary piece.
The piece shouldn't be any longer than a minute in length.
Please send us the following via WeTransfer to complete your application:
WeTransfer is a free file transfer service; just visit wetransfer.com, enter your email address, our email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) then attach your photo, video and CV, and add any other information in the 'messages' box.
If you have recorded your video on a smart phone or tablet, you may find it easier to install the free WeTransfer app for iOS or Android, and send your video etc straight from your device.
You'll receive a confirmation email once we have downloaded your application, and we will contact successful applicants prior to the next workshops. It may be a little while after you have applied so please be patient!
Owing to the large number of applications we receive, sadly we are unable to reply to every application as soon as it arrives.
However, we look through applications on a regular basis, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail once your application has been downloaded.
The agency holds audition workshops about once a term where we spend an hour working with selected applicants in a group. These sessions are free to attend, but are by invitation only. If you are selected, we will contact you to let you know when and where the workshop will take place, and also let you know what to prepare.
If you do not hear from us after your application has been downloaded, regretfully we have not been able to invite you for a workshop this time, though you are welcome to reapply in a year's time, when there may be more opportunities in your casting category.
